Within a month of making a video on problems faced by children who hadn't received their scholarship in two years, the money was received and distributed to the students at Rajkiya Ucch Vidyalay in Dumbar village, Churchu block.
Ekta Marandi, one of the students at the school had not received her scholarship money for more than 2 years. When Community Correspondent Manju Kisku heard her story, she made a video on the problems she was facing during which she found out that many students had not received their scholarship money for over a year. She got the Principle and the school committee moving to ensure children received their dues. In July 2015, less than a month after the video was made, the school received worth 2 years of the scholarship amount which has now been distributed to the children. The children are happy that they now have the money to arrange all the material & books needed for their studies.
